Second in a series based on David Bowie‘s “The Buddha of Suburbia”. Pure inspiration came from the music, this painting is loosely based on a landscape with clouds rolling in. This piece is an 18” x 18” acrylic abstract on cradle board. Mixed media, the materials used were heavy body acrylic paint, glazing, oil pastel, vine charcoal, sanding and distressing. It is sealed with a fixative and a cold wax finish.
